Your not going to want to hear this but... FORD just released official pictures and stats for the revised Shelby GT500... 540bhp 510lb/ft torque 3:55 rear gears and 6speed and just as fast as the outgoing GT500KR but with better handling (for the life of me I have no idea why theres no IRS suspension)... Check (chess!!!)

p.s....we went through all the new GT500 info months ago so it's old news to us (we've got our eyes on the Ford and Dodge folks too) They are also most likely going to be $15-20K more than an SS too

Well I must admit that I was wrong. When white was stated as delayed availability on the Camaro, I stated that the Indy pace car would be white with orange stripes and GM wanted to hold white back at start of Camaro production to make the pace car stand out even more. Obviously my prediction was not based on any insider knowledge. And obviously my prediction was entirely wrong. But I'm not the only one who thinks they should have made the Indy pace car white with orange stripes.

That Jinx design is awesome..... I LOVE those grills.

As for the pace car, it's nice looking. Certainly more subtle than the Daytona car but if I had to choose between the two, Daytona all the way.

Put a convertible top on this car and I will order one asap..I like the not as busy graphics, I'm old school I guess.. Plus I like the red/silver color combo.........

Those that say it should have been white with orange stripes are right on! Somebody made a PhotoShop of such a car, and it is soooooo beautiful. I printed out the image and stuck it on the wall above my desk where I can gaze lovingly upon it all day long.

I agree, white with orange would have looked so much nicer as the photoshop someone did of it.. I would have been easier to paint...Oh wait, perhaps they can't paint white...oh well..Still, a custom white and orange paint job would have looked a lot nicer..But to each his/her own..Only 2 people like it and the rest don't...I wish GM would have asked us to vote on the color scheme, would have been a nice gesture..

No but I know a man named Mike in Oklahoma who will most likely have one in his garage. He is a serious collector of these Camaro pace cars. I believe GM will more than likely make sure he gets one.
