Hey.. thanks guys!

It made my day when I finished the FINAL run and everyone was there cheering for me!

BTW.. my last run was my best run - 53.229 seconds. That translates to 3.3 seconds from 1st place.. It was GREAT to compete with the PRO drivers.. The Super Mod class was awesome to watch and run!

The Best part of the autocross was Rob Anderson taking stock - he finished 1st place with a rental car.

I am sorry I wasn't available too much during the event - like I told everyone before I went.. I was there for the autocross. If I wasn't driving, I was trying to help out with the course or help anyone that needed instruction to get through the course.

I had one person - Kevin was his name - that never did an autocross. He started the day on friday not being able to get through the course.. I did 3 ride a-longs with him and gave him some tips. by Saturday, he pulled a 55 second run in modified!

Thank you all for including me in the LPE Brotherhood dinner. How you all came together as a group I am still not sure. Dan told me a bit about his first visit to LPE and the people he met. I understand the shared interest in performance cars, but what astounds me is the quality of the people in the group. Maybe that is the common denominator -- the desire for quality in products and that translates to quality people???

My only regret from the FEST is being so busy that I didn't spend enough time with everyone.

Pete, you are a #1 class act. Quality is key - and you, my friend, are a very high quality person and as genuine as they come. BTW - You have really cool, extremely high quality parts as well.

I don't think I could have put a car together with anyone else's suspension parts, finish the car on Monday, ship it on a transporter on Tuesday, not adjusting anything till I hit the track, and finish in 4th place - I had the highest amateur finish right behind the 3 PROFESSIONAL drivers.

That is a feat I truly believe I could only have done with Pedders suspension components on my car!

There was a novice - Kevin - who only had a CAI and Pedders suspension with Supercar shocks. First time at an autocross. He finished the event with a very good, clean timed run. If we had a Novice award, for first timers, it would have gone to him! He improved immensely - not so much from 10 minutes of instruction, but from having a car that performs and handles extremely well. BTW - he never adjusted anything on his car at all.

We all need to say thank you to you - for providing us with the opportunity to get to know you. Products are only as good as the people behind the product. You are what help to make Pedders products the best!
You listen to your customers and react if and when there is any issue at all.
Exemplary customer service is what makes or breaks companies.

Hey folks - anyone who has had a clutch pedal sit to the floor or stick half way down knows that it happens when you least expect it - usually during a burnout or on the racetrack. Good news - Lingenfelter has a solution!

I knew I needed to replace my clutch, as I smoked it at the end of last year right before I put the car away. It was still operating once it got hot, so I was hoping I could get through the autocross at the fest with the old one rather than break in the new one on the track.

I thought I was done once my clutch pedal stuck to the floor and didn't come back. Lingenfelter installed this new kit on my car, and I survived the rest of the weekend!

I believe these are ready to be ordered. I highly recommend picking this up and installing it. Installation is easy - no drilling required. This goes inside the car under the dash on the pedal arm.

Thank You!

Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone that came to my neck of the woods this past weekend. Thanks so much for making my weekend one I won't forget. I hope everyone enjoyed the dinner at Shula's. I sweated that one out hoping we would have enough room and that the food would be as good as advertised. Thanks to the LPE staff and Kevin in particular for their hospitality this past weekend. It was great meeting everyone and I now have a face to go with the forum names and even though I don't race mine (yet) I truly feel part of the LPE brotherhood/sisterhood The only thing I regret is letting on to Suki about what I used to do for a living so early on in the dinner. Who knows what else I would have learned about her driving habits

Until next time (SEMA?),

Mark

Nice clutch mod 600! Funny Friday! Here are a few more cool pics. I can't believe I didn't get a pic of MWS's car. I must've been out there having too much fun... or he was!

I was so busy trying to get those darned gorrilla locks off and find new lugs I missed about 6 hours of all the fun! Then it was on to trying to figure out the glitch that turned ugly.
But hey the little time I got to spend with everyone was a blast! Great folks and great cars made it all worth while!
I was so worn out Sat. night I dont remember taking a shower or eating dinner.
I even missed the LS3 vs. L99 shootout.
I will try to plan work around SEMA this fall for the whole thing!

P.S. Sukie swears she is a reformed driver! She has'ent even pulled the CTSV out of the garage.

I've thought about it, but did you see his bumper hanging off the back, and he just finished that car. Plus he's a MUCH better driver than me, and I don't really know how to drift except in my 4 wheeler, and my camaro (unintentionally) I need to get me an old supra or nissan, and give it some ponies and practice first.

We all had a lot going on, but you especially. You better tell Sukie that she can't reform, she just needs a super radar detector!!!!

I am going to stick with Autocross, road course, and pick up the speed/stop thing.. that sounds like an ultra exciting time to me..

Now I wonder where I can do that (Wink Wink).

Thanks Everyone.. I was so happy when I crossed the finish on the final lap, my wife, My sponsors, and the friends I made in the LPE brotherhood were all there to cheer me on. THAT made my whole weekend! You guys are the best!

Oh yeah.. and hanging out with Kevin and Graham on Wednesday for most of the day was pretty cool. You can learn an awful lot of really interesting car tuning/details/setup info from the LPE home office folks. I highly recommend that to anyone, given the opportunity.

I agree Dan, I'm actually extremely happy with my car's performance. It's a great all around car! I ran very well around the Road course, drag was 12.6, 117 at the strip (with not the greatest conditions, and a driver in need of more practice). Cruised home and averaged 30mpg (Cfest2 average was 7mpg though) I'm very happy that I didn't break anything.

My only regret was not riding with you in your car, but I do have to say, that my ride in the V6 rental car with Rob was Overly impressive... Note to self... Never buy a rental car!!!!
