They do have their own designs. You don't see a Buick sweepspear or Opel/Buick hockey stick on a Chevrolet, do you?

I loved seeing all the new camaro's at the Fest in AZ.. I also liked the upgrades in the interior, spoiler, etc.. The 45th was really nice. Not a fan of the Convertable except if it had the roll bar effect.
I love love the new Z and wow I would love it but not the sticker price atm.

I really am torn because I ordered my baby 6-11-09 , waiting for my car to go from allocation to build was probably the longest wait besides the shipping and delivery. So here I was on this site everyday day patiently waiting. Also bugging Scott, Hylton and finally Super60 lol.. I Did get my Litho and so happy about that one. No other car could replace this experience. Finally got her on 10-29-09 and with the ABM being discontinued shortly after I ordered her I do regret not getting the V8.. In all I think with the current mods I have put on her, she handles like a dream. Yes she is a V-6 but fast enough for me ...

My friend is willing to help me put on the HUD, so really that would be one of the only other options I would want... Ok yes there are other things I plan on doing to it..
Rims
Custom paint with stripes.

So what's a girl to do? Keep or trade down the road or better yet have two camaros one for daily one for weekends lol..

Forever a Camaro Chick..

No, but I mean beyond that. Look at their steering wheels, and center dash areas, the Buick LaCrosse looks just like the GMC Terrain.... that steering wheel is used all over, just like the Chrysler products as I mentioned about. I don't care what they do among the other vehicles, but the Corvette and Camaro should have their "OWN" design not something used on all other models of GM.

On a side note, I recommend the Malibu to everyone I know looking for a car, that is a nice car. The new look is amazing too, minus the Camaro wannabe tail lights LOL. The LaCrosse is sweet too, I sat in one when my parents went to buy an Acadia. I'm serious all the new GM vehicles are really kicking some butt!

I feel ya. If I was working full time, I would have a hard time trying to not trade my ABM in for a ZL1!!

I am grateful that GM brought back our Camaro. But the 'Vette and Camaro are 2 huge Chevy icons that need to keep their own identity and not fall into the whole Chevy collective. Really applies to all brands for that matter. Borrowing a styling cue here and there from the big guys (vette/camaro) and tweeking/using them the other models, that's reverence/respect whatever you want to call it. I'm ok with that if it's not overdone. But what is not ok, is to take plain things from the regulars and put them into an icon. With all the 45th Anniversary badging all over the place and then to skimp out and put on a plane Jane, non-descript, generic, chevy logo steering wheel. That's just wrong. When we're driving that's the part that's we see the most and is the closest to us and needs to have special treatment as well, especially since it's an anniversary edition. Come-on Chevy, it's an easy fix.

Nancy, I totally agree, thanks for the insight as far as others taking ideas from the Camaro/Vette being a sign or respect, I can see that, but I agree going the other way is... not cool.

Nothing wrong with having 2 . Once I'm done with my Angel (modding and payments), I'm getting me a 'vert for beach days

Forever a Camaro Chick as well

More torque would sure be nice for the new V6. I also liked the option of getting a V6 without the rear spoiler. Now it will make the 2010-'11 V6's without the RS package more rare.

I couldn't agree more!! the ZL1 wasn't even mentioned when I bought my 2SS/RS!

I like most of the changes. I was supposed to get a 2011 IOM 2LT/RS but...my local dealer was an a-hole and so I canceled the order and instead bought a 2002 Trans Am WS6 with only 6500 miles on it...

I would still like one but...I need to find a better Chevy dealer!

dmginc, if you ever need a dealership locate feel free to contact me. I hope you're able to find your dream vehicle soon. The 45th Anniversary edition looks pretty good in my opinion! Ha ha ha.
