If you click on the link you'll see that they have either a 1.8 mile or 2.5 mile track as well as a drag strip. Seems like it would be a good location and it's pretty central.

Approx. 1,700 miles from Maine
1,800 miles from Seattle, WA
1,500 miles from Miami, FL
1,600 miles from San Diego, CA

It's pretty much SMACK DAB in the middle of the country and it's pretty nice!

I tried looking quick, but couldn't tell by the map where it actually is.

It is centrally located, I prefer a track with some elevation.

just wish they had a drag strip for the go straight and fast guys

I think I would get bored with an oval track. The firs few laps would be cool, but not something I cold do over and over, unless it was a race

Not no, but... @#$% NO!!!!

Why not show some love to the midwest?

How about holding it in Newton(Iowa), Kansas City, St Louis, or Chicago? Newton(new 7/8 mile track), Kansas City and Chicago have awesome racing facilites.

St Louis has Anheiser-Busch. 'nuff said.

Why not have it more towards freaking summer too??? That way more folks who have vacation time can get there.
