Welcomg solidgoldbomb & congrats! Don't have mine yet either, Becky says it will be several weeks but that's ok! Thanks for your service and making it possible for us to enjoy the things we do. I was in the USAF 25 years ago, flew a desk.

The wait will be worth it for both of us! Looking forward to those pics.

Glad it's still open and kicking! They were on the chopping block about a decade ago when I moved away. Always felt safe with those B-1's nearbye! The canyon will be a blast. I wish I could take my car on a road trip out there. SO many great roads in the hills. You can really put a car at it's limit out there.

Dude Becky is the best. She made buying my car a blast. Can't say enough great things about that gal.

Solid Gold - on behalf of everyone at "Team Camaro" - thank you for your service and sacrifice for our country and for those in Iraq that desire freedom.

We'll get to work building you your new Camaro - and we sincerely hope that it will be the best car you've ever owned!

Nothing like getting a personal message from someone who builds these cars in your post eh?

Shows how much the build team cares about this product. It IS going to be one of the best, most memorable cars you ever own. I've had my car for over a month now, and I still can't believe it's mine. SO much fun.

I was going to wait until I actually had the car to make my obligatory introduction post, but just couldn't maintain the patience. Love the forum and looking forward to actually participating in some of these discussions.
Welcome and congrats! Thank you for your service.

I love hearing of servicemen (and women) buying cars when they come home. I have flashbacks of my cousin who did the same sort of thing during Vietnam war. He was there in 1968 and it was rough. He promised himself if he made it home he would go down and buy a brand new Vette. He made it. He ordered a limited edition '68 Mako edition and it arrived at the dealer but was stolen off the lot!!! The dealership got him a brand new '69 Mako Vette with 427 tripower and all the gingerbread as a replacement. It turned out good and he sold the car 5 years ago in all ORIGINAL condition. His retirement nest egg!

Hopefully this car will be the one of your dreams and I am sure Becky will not let you down. We await your safe return and delivery of your new ride. SUBSCRIBED!

Jim

Stay safe, keep your head down, and we'll be looking forward to pictures of that beauty when you get back here in one piece.

Thanks very MUCH for your service, without men and women like you, we would not live in the greatest country in the world.

Enjoy it, I know I enjoy mine. I'm glad you finally got one buddy. It's nice to have something that makes you smile every time you start it. Although i don't know if i can come visit now... two in one place might be too much awesome for rapid city to handle.
