I'm 6'6". I have a sunroof, and though while wearing a hat I occasionally brush the top of my head on the headliner, I still find it quite comfortable. It's all about seat adjustment. I think that dealer was just trying to sell you on the 'vert.

I am 6'7" and have no problem [no sunroof] looked at one with a
sunroof but my hair brushed the top just a little bit.

6'9" and no issues here. I did have to go without the sunroof, but that's pretty normal in any vehicle with me.
