But seriously RdRokt, congrats man. I don't know your circumstances for getting out but as one vet to another, I appreciate your service to the country.

I hit 20 years in June but right now I'm planning on doing another 3 years or so, hoping to retire back home in Texas then.

I was originally gung ho about the army and had planned on doing my 20. My wife has 8 1/2 in at the moment with another 2 left. But once I PCS'd here to Hood, everything changed. 1st Cav took me off the line and stuck me on a staff job and it totally changed everything. Now we have a 5month old and we decided it would be best if one of us got out on Family Care plan. So here I am, for the moment, a stay at home daddy. That is until I do the "un-do-able" and find a decent job

hope weather stays dry for tonight, see you guys out there

What did you do in the service?

Do you have an active security clearance?

I know what you mean....my MOS, 90% of our positions are Staff jobs... I have 7 years Division Staff @ 101st, and now I'm doing some Brigade Staff time. Staff jobs can be somewhat "trying" to say the lest.
