Finally did my first fuse pull on my LS3 last week.. left it sit overnight with the tank filled with 93 octane. Put the fuses back in the following morning and noticed a difference in power immediately, better throttle response and more pull all the way up to 6000 rpm.

r7, you can also find pictures of the engine compartment outlining the under the hood fuse block in section 10 on pages 6 and 8 of your owners manual as well if you still have questions on where it might be after the wonderfully done picture by PQ (nice modifications by the way). I hope that answers your question.

I'll be doing it in my LS3 after I get it broke it over 1000 miles and after my first oil change. But will need to mix 90 (max we have) with 104 (from Sunoco Racing) to get at 93 ro so. I really want to take time getting used to the car so I can have a real comparison in the power output before and after a pull. This is the fastest car I have ever owned so the power output it has now really impresses me. Would be nice to get even more... At the least, I am hoping that it will smooth out the somewhat rough idle I have, which occurs to a small degree even after warm up.

Anyone else notice a difference in their idle after a pull?

Only 2 tables. That's what we've been told anyway.

If you are not gonna start it till the next day, just leave them out during that time. But I don't think it will matter either way.

1 hour should be plenty, but I've read otherwise. The original fuse pull was for about 3 hours but I didn't time it exactly.
Cool. Thanks for the info

The reason I didn't want it to sit overnight is because my wife was taking the car to work the next day and I didn't want to wake up earlier then usual to have to pop 2 fuses back in for her

I did the fuse pull on my LS3 a little over a year ago now and was happy with the results when I did it. Does anyone know if over time you should do it again or is only one time all it takes forever?

As I understand it, if you put low octane in your car again your computer will readjust for that fuel and you will have to do the fuse pull again the next time you fill up with the high octane. Correct people....?

Okay, so I did my initial fuse pull and reinserted after only 4 hours. Unfortunately, we can only get 90 here unless we want to mix with 104 - that will come later. After the car warmed up to temperature, I noticed that the idle had smoothed out to where it was hardly noticeable at all. As to power increase... I can honestly say the car was more responsive and felt like it shifted better. The power seemed to come quicker - if that makes any sense. I can definitely say there was a positive difference in my LS3 after the pull.

P.S.: A black GT500 came up to me later and gave me a couple of revs, but I wasn't biting...

P.P.S.: Also had a couple of APD 4x4s behind me all the way to Beluga point. Might be because of the plate...
