OK... this is why Junior members need to use the SEARCH FUNCTION!!!!!!!

Yes its not funciton, neither are the brake vents...

it will not take more then a little V shaped piece of plastic to direct incomming rocks and shit away from the release latch. And then you can make it functional.

I don't mind it being non-functional. The thing I don't like about it is you can obviously see that it's non-functional.

But you can also "see" it's not a V6...

To make it 'look' functional shouldn't be hard. Heck, with a little ingenuity, you can take the stock insert and open it up with slits.

I think they were trying to follow the "look" of the concept, while still differentiating between the V6 and V8. It's not the end of the world.

This is like the twilight zone... If you search threads about 9 months old you'll find this topic over and over again...

If it wasn't there, people would've complained about it "not looking like the concept"... just like the mirrors... and the gas cap... somebody would've started a complaint thread, and then all of the complainer-followers would jump on board... then the complainer-about-complainers would jump in... oh the life of Camaro5

Hey, they just released spy photos of the upcoming Z28. You can tell it's the new Z by looking at the headlights.

Let's not disrespect people for their cars of choice or necessity. I, for one, drive a Subaru because circumstances were out of my control. Driving a car other than a GM product doesn't make MerlinZero or me any less supportive of GM products.

People complained for months that the V6 and the V8 trims looked too much alike. GM tried to reconcile this by making the V8 different-looking. They're doing their best. If you want to change it, then go get a body kit.

I know this has been beaten to death, but I also hate non-functional riced up methods of differentiating models.

You want to know something, All these months and all the threads about the non functional mail slot on the SS and the fake brake cooling gill slits in front of the rear wheels and I have not seen one complaint about the FAKE cowl induction hood on EVERY 2010 Camaro....
I want a real Cowl Induction Hood!!
