I was just looking at the Heartland Park Topeka location and there's one glaring issue I see.

The dragstrip and road course would not be able to run at the same time. The return track for the dragstrip is PART of the road course (regardless of road course setup).

That could be a serious problem...

Could be really fun if the road course is going the opposite direction as the drag cars trying to return to the staging lanes

I pretty much say anything within a 2 day trip from CA and we'd almost all be there...it's tough to organize a long drive with a lot of people between parking, hotel, etc...plus I hate all my fellow CA people anyway so makes it that much tougher of a drive

J/k of course but I think the idea of having it in the dead center of the U.S. is the smartest idea...GA is on the East Coast, AZ is pretty much the West Coast...now do it in the middle and since the two sides of the country have had a taste of it we all have the drive to make the trip 2 days to attend C5FestIII...of course some people are still going to bitch but inevitably they'll just have to put their big boy pants on...quit crying...and make the drive if you want to be part of the festivities!!

I recent Milwaukee because the nearest dragstrip is in Union Grove, WI which means you'd have to drive to the dragstrip.
