How hard are RLCAs to switch out yourself? Alignment?

Will buy, but they must be physically smaller then the stock LCAs (ie: fit into the same physical space or less) as if they don't clear my 17" welds, then its a no-go.

We are not supposed to post pricing but I think I can get away with $300 "ish" +/- $50 for a pair. I know it's vague, we just need to get a better idea at weld times on a production scale before we can lock down the price...

We have actually been working with Weld Racing on this and have a set of 17" Welds coming on Thursday for testing. I am not very positive about them clearing though. Without altering the shock mounting location, it is very difficult to build an arm for wheels smaller than 18" unless the strength of the arm is compromised. These are more or less a street/track arm that we specifically designed with clearance for 18" wheels and above. Our lightweight drag race arms will be available later this year and will clear down to a 16" wheel. We will kep everyone posted on the progress... |

I'm not knocking BMR nor do I want to come on here and say don't wait for them to get there LCA done. I also have no clue on the price of the Spohn LCA vs BMR either.
I did however want to say that Spohn makes some great products. I know that they aren't an active vendor on the Forum but last I saw they are a vendor. I bought their Del-Shpere trailing arms and everything about them were top notch. Everytime I called them they answered the phone right away and spent the time to talk out all of my questions. Again....nothing against BMR at all. I'm just suggesting to not toss Spohn out as an option just because they aren't as active on this forum.

bmr, you should try a lowered car to find the problem. i may have been the first to see this issue with my welds rubbing the lower arm.
