You must really look like a female if the sole reason for you getting a manual car was to prove that you are not a woman.

O0oh that doess it! I have a confession to make I'm SUPER FREAKING JEALOUS OF THAT! I have had daydreams of a bagged Camaro starting/raising up while red halos glow menacingly, and dual machine gun nitrous purge, LEDs pulsating. I would make people beleive my car just got possesed and came alive with the connectivity package's minimum startup volume setting maxed out and a file of demonic laughter cued up... Or maybe even some type of Kitt sound bite.
PS. If you use my idea before I do I hate you, and you're welcome.

Hahahahah

I got the manual cause it was the only Camaro they had, I would have got the automatic if I had a choice. There is 4 stop lights here, so traffic is not a problem. Plus having a company vehicle I don't have to drive it everyday, so I think its more tolerable.

Every other bowtie muscle I have ever owned had a Muncie or T-10, just because I could rebuild them and put them in without a tranny jack.

I wanted a manual soo bad, but living in one of the worst areas to drive in ( Hampton Roads SUCKS),, riding the clutch isnt my idea of fun in frickin stop and go traffic. many MANY days i wanted a manual, but rush hour crawl is one of the worst in the nation around here so automatic it was. Besides having arthritis in my left knee doesnt help! Now if I lived in the country and didnt have to drive into this hellhole traffic nightmare ( other than that I love vabeach).. I woulda bought a manaul.

and yeah the autostart is the BOMB!!! love hearing the growl from the house!

I am at a lost to why this yet again turned into a bash fest...

If you don't think it is fun, one decent mod and a tune fixes that problem, give me my 4 or 5 mods and my tune and I will blow doors off.... if you haven't grabbed the steering wheel with both hands squeezed hard and just mashed the gas and you don't think that is "fun", then you are a flat out liar and full of s---.

I have to ask though...why is it at least 10 different M6 owners entered a thread that clearly asks the question directed to L99 owners?!

Unless you live in a rural area or in the mountains, a stick as a DD is fun for about a week for me...

My 67 is a T56 manual 6 speed..so I get all the shifting when I want..2nd ..my 2010 is ABM in color and that was the only one I could find when I heard the color was discontinued..so automatic it was. I wouldnt swap it for a manual as crusing is so much fun and the paddes give me the manual feel whenever I want.

I forgot about the remote start lol. That's a big one for me too, I love it. I use it every time I'm walking to my car Friends think I'm showing off though. Even though my friend's Sebring does the same thing lol.
