Seems that you can pretty easily change units in there. Good news for me that have metric as units.

This is a 1 LT I wonder if the LS will have the same readouts....
Thanks for showing, but where is the button located that changes the display and resets it?

On a stalk LH side of the steering wheel. Menu switches between two menu screens, you then twist the ring wth the arrow on it forward or backward to scroll through the screens.

Oh man that 's going to be a pain since I drive left handed. Wish it was on the right handed side :(

That thing read 27.5 MPG the second time.

Damn. That's amazing.

I wish there was an instantaneous fuel economy readout though. Everyone who has a G8 likes playing with that.

On other vehicles I have seen they typically calculate take your remaining fuel and divide that by your average fuel economy or your instant fuel economy. While I only looked at the video once, I noticed the fuel gauge read full and there was about a 300 mile range. Somewhere, I am sure there is a tank capacity listed on this site, however I simply haven't searched for it. We could probably figure out how it is calculated from that info. My guess, if it is like my Sierra, it what is expected until the tank is empty. One would think you could watch it tick away to 0, but the wife's Honda switches over to LOW when it gets close to 10 or so.

I have the same thing in my cobalt SS/SC and it takes your avg. mpg and multiples it by size of the tank. So in the camaro it would be 27.2 (per number3) x 19 (I believe) which would be 516 miles per tank

It also uses your current driving habits (ie - if you're always on the highway but are getting low and in city traffic, it will not say you have 50 miles left with your 2 gallons, it will tell you that you have around 24-30..). It's pretty darn good on my '03 TBlazer, and the algorithm probably gets better every year.
