Well I didn't want the convertable because I live in MI. I always thought verts had the trouble with the retractable top. Also I saw many modern verts with the window popping off and window unsewing itself off the roof. So not really a convertable fan. Maybe if I was back home in San Diego. I did get the coupe. I also saw my window sticker. The history says it is being shipped. So here is my order history.

03/31/2011 - (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order.
03/31/2011 - (1102) Order entered via web.
04/05/2011 - (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
04/05/2011 - (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.
04/06/2011 - (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.
04/08/2011 - (3100) Order available to sequence.
04/08/2011 - (3300) Order scheduled for production. Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle.
04/14/2011 - (3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together.
04/21/2011 - (3800) Order produced and vehicle is being prepared for shipping. For Cadillac, GMC and Buick customers, please contact your dealer or customer service for further updates as no further updates available at this time.
04/21/2011 - (4000) Vehicle available to ship.
04/21/2011 - (4150) Invoiced (order is invoiced to the dealer).
04/21/2011 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.

It now looks like I get mine before my buddy gets his(2012 Ford Mustang). And he ordered his before I ordered mine. He got bumped to June. I just hope we get no hassles. I think I'll get it before Memorial Day weekend as I will be going to Tennessee. My folks will $hit a brick(Navy term). I can't wait! I think I'll be taking a taxi to pick it up when it arrives at the dealer. They have to put on the stripes, spoiler, grille, instrument package and outdoor cover. It's like Christmas in May for Troy-boy!!!!

I was wondering because of the short amount of time yours went from order to production!! No need to explain why you went with the coupe, you got a CAMARO!!!!!! Personally I'd like to start a collection, but the pocket book needs a little time off before any big spending.

Our Brother-in-law and wife have a 2010 SS/RS Coupe, we're thinking they'll be taking us to pick ours up!!

Did you know that there are two threads for TPW 4/18, so there are a handful of additional members enjoying the production of their new CAMARO. Being a rookie at the time started a thread in the convertable forum.

Got my VIN this morning. My dealer says there's a major clog in GM transportation system as GM changed auto carriers in North America.
