Snag the inferno Orange and remove the orange stripes. Enjoy the interior as it does not look Orange its more of a red and to me looks awesome... GO FOR IT!

Well, since you are going to be making $500 on the trade, and you know that having the black will drive you crazy, go for it. Just be sure you're aware that going from black to white is not much of a difference in the cleanliness department. My last car was white, and it got just as dirty looking just as quick as my black SS.

With the money you would lose in the trade, you could get another couple coats of paint and more clear coats put on the car. Bulletproof black paint. rawr

of your two options i'd say the 2nd one, the white 6spd with black stripes =) plus you can always add a short throw shifter afterwards...good luck with the trades or keeping it. no matter what, do what ever you feel comfortable with and will love

if you trade have the dealer get and install a factory hurst as part of the deal, won't cost them much and you'll be happy

do it! To me, black color car is for those who have a ton of time to spend keeping it clean. I owned 1 black car in the 40+ I have owned. I learned and never ever I will own a black car again. I have better things to do than spending hours every week/month polishing/buffing the swirls out to keep it looking good.

I can't see any way that this would make sense. Keep the 2011 and put lots of wax on it. Purchase a nice car cover and keep it covered when it is in the garage. Keep the car clean. You will have the same issues with any color. It is just more noticeable on black. Keep the black. Going back to a 2010 makes no sense in my humble opinion.

I wouldn't!!! turtle wax makes a wax called the black box... I used it on my ex gf 2006 mustang. it actually came out real nice.

If you make the trade, even if you get a 1000.00 cash... Your getting a 2 year old car. Sounds good now, but the only way I would make the trade is if I plan on keep the car the whole length of the loan. If not, you'll pay for it if you ever try to trade in the 2010.

2011 for 2010 equals one more full year of depreciation whether recognized now or when you go to sell it and you will lose much more than the $1000 they are offering. I'd keep the black 11 and drive it and quit being so picky about it's appearance. Wash, wax and drive it like it's a normal car because regardless of what some think, it is a normal car unless you bought it to be a garage queen. When you have a few hours free, then give it a good detailing and call it good enough until you have time free again. If it is a garage queen, then get a cover for it and store it properly and safely. But I have to ask why anyone with kids and no time would buy a garage queen.
