Soul patch status

Black cars are reap the biggest reward after a good wash. Both my previous cars were black. After a bath, they'd look epic...for about half and hour or so. Then the dust would get to it After seeing the 5th gen in person in both white and black, it'd be a tough call for any new buyer. Especially after you see a Summit White with IOM rally stripes. That's a pretty boss color combo.

Thats it's "soul patch". The car is a hipster apparently.

I live my black car. I actually just walked back in the house after taking the past hour and a half or so washing and waxing the dirty beast.

My last car was white, and while you can let the white slide longer without washing it as fine dust is not nearly as noticeable, I find the black looks far better when clean than did the white.

Though I must admit the white 5th gen looks stellar too. Almost bought one. Just wanted a change.

BTW, this is now the third time I've typed a reply to this very topic in three different threads in the last 24 hours...

um wasn't "really really " sure I wanted black but, damn glad I got it. Some people say black hides the lines of the car. I disagree I think the lines get more lost on a white car. Black makes the lines stand out. To each his own, I guess. Your right tho a picture is worth a thousand words. The first pic is after a bath and in the second pic the car was rather dirty.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics

got news for you OP

black is still the best color and everyone knows it. YEAH I SAID IT. no other color turns heads like black when it's clean.

it takes work but so what. wash your car once in a while YOURSELF and make sure it has some wax on there as well. having black forced me to learn how to take care of my own ride and put some work in to make it look good.

zero regrets on black. so sure of my decision that if they didn't offer the camaro in black i would've bought a different car

Black was just to much work. I have OCD when it comes to how my SS looks.
But when its clean black is the best looking.
