has anyone modified theirs and seen any results or recommend a brand? Does anyone know of this company?

Cold air intakes only add about 10 to 15 horses. Not a considerable amount to feel the difference. I haven't heard the brand, but I have used K&N and that is a good quality product. Easy to install.

Even though I own a V6, I have a V6 version of this CAI, and the materials quality is tops. The V6 version does'nt have a heath Shield but the company sells one for the V8 version. I think that you have to add $100.00 more or so. As far as I know, I would reinstall mine if ever a heatshield would come available because that's the only missing piece..... I now have a K&N but had a CEL (Check Engine Light) issue with it. I'm testing it once again too see if the CEL will come back or not. If so, I'll reinstall the G5CR since I like the looks and it gave me much more thottle response and added some sound to the exhaust.

I am not familiar with that brand, but from a design stand point they are pretty poor. All you will be ingesting is hot air from inside the engine bay which is exactly what you do not want. Give this article from our blog a read. It will help you understand what makes a good intake system and mentions several that are available for these cars.

I'm actually interested in finding out which CAI gives the best fuel economy benefit. An extra 10% mpg would be wonderful (if it can go that high)

CAI Inc. Makes a wonderful product!! personally thats what i have in my car and i love it!! If i had to do it all over again i would choose the same CAI. I have the black powder coated finish on mine and i looks really good. I did notice a difference in the throttle responce after i installled the intake (better) And its true... you wont notice a increase in mpg's if you dont keep your foot of the gas but its so darn hard not to be on it. LOL i have a Borla Catback exhaust on my car and after i installed the intake the car does sound deeper, healthier and meaner!!! I LOVE IT and RECOMEND IT!!!

Either Vararam... CAI inc... Roto-Fab... or ADM... and all but the Vararam need the ADM scoop to maximize performance. hope this helps.
