any ideas?
Hi Gents and Ladies,
Well i am in New Zealand and own a Holden HSV GTS VT2,powered by a LS3 Engine. I had 18x8 235/40 18 Wheels and Tyres all round. I also changed the catback from twin 3'' off the headers all the way thru to a 2.5'' off the headers to a single 3''. This week, I recently changed the wheels to 19x8 235/235 19 Wheels and tyres ,does look great My question is i feel the car is abit slower down low, take alittle more to get it moving. Is it the bigger wheels or the exhaust? |

Larger sized rims and tires (taller) will make the car take a little more power to get moving, however you can put larger rims and smaller height tires to maintain height of overall package and not make any difference in power as long as the weight has not changed.
