I must say I haven't washed my car in like two weeks and I took my profile pic of the car on Saturday and you would never know it was filthy. Even in person it doesn't look too bad but the stripes are a dead give away. But to answer your question black gets my vote.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned yellow yet. Any type of black dirt shows up really easily on it. It does not take much to have little black specs all over the back of it once you drive it after a wash. It looks really bad when the car is dusty and then gets rained on. So you can guess what mine looks like after all the rain Michigan has been having lately.

In sIM you can see the layers of dust on the hood. I need a wash this weekend. Darn rain last sunday ruined it for me. |

black is by far one of the best looking when clean but also one of the worst looking when dirty. white is great for hiding the light dust stuff but looks pretty bad when fully dirty though....

though black is indeed the hardest to keep clean, i think it's the only color that looks great when clean and still pretty damn good when dirty*.
*except for water spots. they make a black car look like it has barnacles. |
