I like this guy.... I love his signature...... "Anyone can drive fast in a straight line, its what you can do thru the curves that matters!"

I think we should do subliminal messages in every post from now on....

Question, if the location picked is up north (ahem... Joliet, Joliet, Joliet) would the date of the fest be pushed back a month or two to avoid potentially cool/cold weather?

Sorry if this has already been discussed. Gotta look out for the Southern folks, don't want to scare them away with 40-50 degree temps

Yes we would most likely move it from mid April to sometime in May or maybe even June. We'd have to look at scheduling and weather to decide what would be best.

It doesn't have a 1320. That's a C5 requirement for the Fest

look at the Google satellite imaging -

the place marker looks to be on the north/northest corner of the park, on the road course.

Follow that road around the facility. You'll see that, if it is in fact their road course, then the 1/4 mile drag strip is fully integrated into the course. This would make it impossible to have both events set up in the same weekend. :(

Where?

It runs around the entire facility and then cuts across the 1/4 mile track...
