Does anyone know about the venting on the rear deck? It looks like 2 the same and one in the center. Those are good sized speakers in the rear deck.

The pics of the openings are the same. Its just a perspective thing. Compare where the bottom of the opening ends and near the top by the square piece(baby seat latch?) Same locations. Plus its in the ordering workbook. Both get 6x9s. BAs get 3.5 coaxially mounted and center speaker(9 speakers), base(6 speakers).

Where's the center speaker? Dash? It's certainly not in the trunk/back.

It does not mention the speaker size or locations in the workbook. All it says is "Boston Acoustics ® premium 9-speaker system, 245 watts."

There is two versions of their workbook. Ill try to find em for you. The center is in the front dash.

I hate the darn center speaker...I will have to use that spot for something new once I rip that one out !!!! They do sound nice, but they are a pain when you get into aftermarket stuff

I don't think anybody really knows or will know til someone gets their car and decides to rip it apart and take a peak at the back. Or maybe a dealer with access to the parts list can look into it?

Yeah the head units probably the same. The bose system in my mazda is the same headunit as the regular system. It would be the smartest way to go for GM as it would save money to just add the digital amp to it like they did on my bose system.
