I've heard cars with muffler deletes. Pretty loud.

I would not consider a muffler delete, but I think the cutouts will be fun to surprise the occasional ricer revving in the adjacent lane at a stop light.

Oh my... Muffler delete NOT the same as cut outs and LT headers... Not even the same ballpark!

It will be fun but you won't want to drive with them open. Great for on car shows when you're at idle and minimal gas... You'll like em... They'll make you smile when you use them!

Muffler delete is quiet compared to cut-outs, then you add headers

Yeah, I have headers. What surprised me is how much louder my car is just from adding the cam. It is WAY louder than it was prior to the cam.

The cutouts are just for fun. I need to keep a camera to take pictures of the faces in the cars next to me when I open them. hehehe

Yes, the cam is the only difference between drew's car and mine... Same intake, same size headers, same exhaust but his is a lot louder.

Adding my cam made my car louder, and I was surprised how much louder mine became when I later added my long tubes. Glad I didn't go with cut outs.

I was just wondering why a cam would make the car louder....

....oh, more air + more fuel = bigger boom, more bigger booms = louder sound

Maybe you can answer my question....I am also on a couple G8 boards.

I can't get anyone on there to respond to my threads at all.....do G8 guys hate the camaro that much? I know you said you like the looks, but wow do I get a cold shoulder over there.

I can say... when I toasted my gears at the track last year, I did hear a guy from the crowd yell "SHOULD HAVE GOT A G8"

But, I took my car to a friends friend's house who had a Stryker Bule

GT and he loved the Camaro so

I think its give or take... Some people hate Mustangs and Challengers with a passion "just because" its not a Camaro... thats crap. I am a car enthusist. Heck, I even love the 370Z and older Supra and RX~7!
