[QUOTE=CamaroSpike23;315746]scott has confirmed that it us on hold right now. lol
and its better to be a smart ass than a dumb ass ![]() Yes; I know Scott has said the project is on hold right now. He has not said any thing about the car being ready to start being produced at the moment. ow and I know that it is better to be a smart ass than a dumb ass. But next time better to check your use of grammar or spelling prior to posting your come back. Weight what is the first comment you said here? Ow ya "Scott has confirmed that it us on hold right now". us? ow ya who just got bitch slapped? lol, lol, lol, lol. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ow....? did someone hurt you? oh, you probably meant "Oh". you call me on 1 slip up.... go read my other 5400+ posts and find some grammatical errors.... ![]() ![]() and its not a come back. its called the truth. The Z28 is NOT ready for production at this moment in time. Dont plan on seeing a Z28 for another year or two at the best. Scott has told us time and time again that GM needs to get the base and SS models out and selling before they can worry about a Z28. they have one planned, but it wont be happening for a while.

![]() and it would be really dumb to put out a kill-all version of a car when the normal trims ain't been on the roads to see where the platform needs improvement. remember - this car was basically designed from the ground up. there will probably be a few issues that got overlooked or arise in full-scale production. these need to be resolved before they put out a car that people are paying a hefty chunk of change over the rest of them to own. if the car's gonna be faster, safety has to be more certain, and if it's more expensive, quality has to be more certain. these only come with time. not to mention, they have no R&D money for a novelty car like this. as much as we'd like to have a Z28, the majority of the public won't be out to get one. GM's best plan, right now, would be to sell getting the cars they have now and get back in the green.

even if it had been developed, they would still want to see how well the platform does in real-world conditions, and if there're any bugs that show up in the system before launching a car that important. if there's any definitive news of a Z28 coming out, you know the press will jump all over it, and there will be much scrutiny as to how it compares to the gt500 (or even the kr if they're bold enough to try & compare the gt500 to an SS ). GM would not want to worry about something getting picked apart. just keep the faith... you will have your Z28 soon enough! (so long as -insert political comment here-)
