i try and learn all i can about the car i have at any given time.
it keeps my need for the dealer at a bare minimum.

i suggest you clean your car, pressurewash and wet-vac your floormat if you have to.
once she sparkles, check your paint for scratches. take lots of pictures,
and make note of your time spent. for every hour you spend cleaning, demand an oil change. if anything needs polishing, get an estimate to throw at them.
they detail guys at a bodyshop are the lowest paid guys in the building.
if they do it, it will look like they washed it with a brick.
if you need help, ill be dewinterizing my trailer tomorrow at the shop, and doing some final touches on a ZR-1.

ravirn is actually coming up from calgary this weekend, he saw the pics of my car and well lets just say he's not handling it well at all either

him and i are going to go to town on her on sunday and get her shinning like new

i really appreciate the offer hot ss that really means alot to me

i have a feeling ravirn will also be contributing to getting me good and smashed on sat night when we head out for the ufc fight. if you wanna come out and join up any of you are more then welcome just shoot me a message.

ya i'm going to call them on monday for sure and make sure that they know. like i said it's a two part issue, one the condition of my car when i picked it up and the fact that they didn't fix what it was originally in there for

I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I saw those photos. I don't how someone could do that to their car, especially when it's a customers.

I had problems with GSL years ago when I took my Cavalier in there for an oil change. The service guy dented the hood. I had to claw my way up to the service manager in order to get it fixed. I do all my dealings with Jack Carter now. If you'd like I can get in touch with my guy there and see if he has any contacts in Edmonton or the area to help you out.

any contacts for dealers in the edmonton area will be appreciated. i used to trust my dealer and i was so happy that i found a dealer i thought i could rely on for the life of my car

now i'm quite gun shy about taking her somewhere and letting others touch her again, but she's still sick and not running right and needs to be fixed :(

this is the crazy part still no engine light on. as soon as i hit the hiway last night i went to test the cruise control again cuz that was what started this whole ordeal to begin with, the cruise not working

sure enough it didn't set, so i called onstar right away to run another engine diagnostics and sure enough all of the exact same codes came back

P0300 P0301 P0304 and P1380

and on the sheet that i got from them it says that these are all history codes, they checked the oil, it was at the add line, changed oil, reavaluate, all ok

your auto start wont work with an engine light, perhaps cruise wont enable with code history. id remove the codes and see how it goes from there.
oops, i see your M6. does it run as it should? you coulda got the misfire codes from winter storage and the first fire up on a low batt can do funny things. i keep a scan tool in my glove box for these occasions.....

i actually called another dealer this morning and went through the whole story with them about what is happening with my car. they have had one other V6 come in with similiar issues and he even told me there's a bulletin out on this. shocking that competition couldn't find the same bulletin, dumbasses.

anyways she's rebooked for wed morning to go in and get all of the issues looked at AGAIN and hopefully this time she comes out fixed. i'll keep everyone posted on how it goes. i'll also be doing the full detail on my car this weekend so if there is any damage to the paint or interior i can document it for GM customer service before i call them on monday morning

and meltdown i never got a pm from you. i hope it didn't get lost in cyber space

WOW, sorry to hear of the bad luck there Kitty.
When I saw the photos, even I snapped into a bad mood, who the hell do some of these STEALERSHIPS think they are.
the guys I go to can't stand me cause I am right next to the car when they are working on it, and if I can't be due to insurance reasons, then I go somewhere else.
Just cause some of the lowlifes are envious of what we bust our butts for, doesn't come close for the super lack of customer service.
I think GM should close down o few more dealerships, then maybe then we will start to see customer service return to where it should be.

The members of Camaro 5 alberta should band together, cruise in to that crappy STEALERSHIP, aproach the sales manager, and the service manager, demand an apology, and a full auto detail inside and out for Kitty at NO expense to her.
There are power in numbers, lets scare the HELL out of these guys, so it doesn't happen to one of our own again.
