Stupid Cold Air Intake Question/Advice Needed

Hey everyone, I'm sure this is sort of a dumb question to most of you, but I recently installed a volant cai on my car, there is a small rubber hose that runs from a port in the engine block into the intake of the cai, I'm not exactly sure what this is for, I assumed it is a bleed off of excess oil??? My problem is this hose comes into contact with my belt, there's a hole in it now, the stock airbox has a metal tube that runs from the port to the intake tube, is there any harm in driving it like this for the time being, has anyone else come across this?

Fresh air hose hose and is part of the PCV system. Your fuel trims will be way off and dirt will get sucked into the engine. I'm not familiar with the Volant, but most aftermarket intake can make use of a 3/8" transmission cooler hose which can be purchased at most autoparts stores.

Do NOT cap off these lines though. $6 in hose and you should be good to go.

The auto store also sells 90 degree elbows as a general use multipurpose type of thing. Maybe you could use those to redirect your hose out of harms way.
