Opinion on Which Dealership to buy from
Ok, so I found a dealer that is coming in about $500 below the other. My only thing is that the other dealer is like 1 hour away. What wold you guys do? Would you buy from the cheaper one or the one closet? The original price is the invoice price, so the other dealer is $500 below invoice. Im afraid that the other dealer may not be able to finance me as well since I dont live in that area, but im not sure about this. Any words of advice for me?
Thanks |

try and get your own financing, like a credit union or your bank. If you have the loan money already set up itdoesn't matter where you buy from.

$500 bucks is worth an hour drive......
oh and BTW.......Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy. ![]() oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

There's a thread on here for dealers....you can, if you have your own financing, by from any of them w/the lowest price and have it shipped to your local dealer. I knew a guy who bought his Mustang Cobra 5 states over and drove it home (was $8,000 under anyone else's offer).
If you just have to have it now.....you'll usually end up paying a higher price.

Camaroguitar85, if you are worried about where to have the vehicle serviced at you should be able to take the vehicle to any GM dealer in your area for service and not have to worry about encountering favoritism. As far as the financing question is concerned I would contact the financing department of the dealer giving you the better deal in order to get more information on what you are being offered. I hope this helps you.
