I've been debating on buying the ram extract hood or the sinister hood from pfyc.com, but I don't want to cover my scoop. Any suggestions??

I went without the close-out panel and I'm happy with it. I would suggest putting the hood on first, then deciding if the close-out panel is something you want. Post pics when you do it!

According to SLP, their fiberglass hood weighs the same as the OEM aluminum hood. When we removed the OEM hood and installed the SLP hood, the SLP hood felt slightly heavier, maybe by a few pounds. I'll take a couple of pounds for a functional hood scoop that looks bad a$$ any day!
