HHR!?
So im leaving work late and tired just wanted to get on it and fly home. Pull around this HHR into another lane so im up at the light to get on the on ramp first (best part of the highway!). I hear tires squeel and the damn thing is right there with me! I think to myself wtf, give some gas and get around like I needed... jump on the on ramp which is a big loop and the dudes close enough to smell what I had for breakfast
so I punch it and get the eff outta there and he manages to stay right up with me . Thinkin to myself this guys got a modded out HHR or somthin... he pulls up aside me and I see SS badging so I laughed and thought we gave eachother thumbs up and continued to head home.Friggen SS HHR!? I didnt even know those exist but that thing was pretty damn quick! If it didnt resemble so much of a station wagon I'd consider that for as an option for a vehicle.

Yep, it's got the same motor as the Cobalt SS.

The guy must have done some work to the HHR or else you need to do the fuse pull on your SS (assuming it's automatic). An HHR SS should be able to hang with a V6 Camaro, not an SS.

You'd be surprised to see how quick those can go. They're great little cars. Shame they're being discontinued.

i have a manual he didnt necessarily hang right with me but considering what it is I was impressed... prolly went from 10 feet behind me to 20-30 yards but most cars woulda been 1/4 mile behind me. Coulda been modded a bit too I thought I heard a slightly more throaty exhaust and he had all the badging redone in black so the dude must be some what of a car person.
Kinda suprised its a SC 4 banger tho but those are quick little cars.. my cousin got the SS Cobalt when it first came out~ he still has it and in great condition. I jumped on it in 3rd and ran it up to about 100 before I caught myself and backed her down |
