Winshield Tint

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has tinted the front windshield. Does anyone know if it's even legal?

Tint the windshield??? YOUR KIDDING RIGHT? Why in the world would someone what to tint the windshield????? Not unless decreasing your visibility while driving is your goal and you don't care about other peoples lives!!! Also as soon as the police see that, your gonna get tickets!! Why do something so dumb!! Your just asking for trouble.

It's the ASI line, and it is less than 6 inches (someone above mention 6 inches. The problem is usually not when getting pulled over, but it will fail inspection if the inspector is following the law.

It is illegal......unless you have a medical exempt form. Which I just happen to have. So once the weather turns nice I'll be taking her to get 70% across the windshield.

Mine's tinted, 50%. I have no trouble seeing out of it. Can hardly tell it's there, unless you're trying to look in the car at night. It just takes away a little glare while driving during the day.

I had the same on my 92 Z28,it also helped with reducing glare from oncoming cars at night.

I was just in Panama this last week, a lot of the people there tinted their front windshield. Giving how insane people drive there I could only imagine how great of an idea it was. As others mentioned in Texas you get 6" I couldn't imagine doing the whole windsheild. I am getting older though and the eyes aren't what they used to be and wern't that great to begin with :-P
