ok i was talking to a dealer today trying to get info and he said that if i ordered it would be a long time cuz the oshawa plant was at a stand still right now! and not making any camaro's at the moment, and he said it would be awaile till it started up again. and to call him back in late june or july for more info on the camaro. Can anyone confirm if this is true?!

Production doesn't start till March 16th. So yes he is correct.

Wrong. You and the dealer. They are pumping out CTF cars like crazy. Search the threads and there is one of a bunch of cars outside the plant waiting for their happy CTF owners.

Yes they aren't at a stand still, but they aren't making any cars that consumers can buy or any of the pre-order cars that are already "bought". June - July might be an optimistic estimate on someone ordering a car now and being able to get it..

They don't bring the parts to the plant.....the plant brings itself to the parts!!!

The only thing i was told was that the v6's was on hold for now and will begin production again. But i believe that was a while ago. You will be getting your Camaro by June (July at the latest) if you ordered it now. Don't worry!!!

Go to a better dealer. I would if i was you, that guys an IDIOT!!!!
