Trust me everybody...Banshee will have his handcuffs with him and even though Oshawa is not his 'jurisdition', he'll take care of anybody that gets out of hand.

That being said, we're just a group of Camaro Lovers that love each other's company. We like to get together at the end of the day and have a few drinks. It really does not get crazy or out of hand.

I have no problem with people having a few beers and having a good time. I love having fun....you always gotta step back and see it from someone elses point of view, that's all.....

Sorry, I wasn't able to attend last year so I didn't get the joke and read too fast missing the Unofficial part. Hopefully my comment doesn't make me sound like a party-pooper. I'm all for fun and games...and drinking and I do realize there isn't anything explicit saying "drinking and driving".

TLSTWIN and Xello...you'll get along with this group just fine.

Hey guys, don't pile on Xello, I was going to let it go without out saying anything......but I also was not there last year and didn't get the joke......I just saw the shirt as endorsing drinking and questionable behavior...... I saw the video/pictures of the guys drinking and running the parking lots in the hotel carts (from C5FII)......not a good image to put out there, no respect of other peoples property...regardless of what happened, it is the perceive appearance..

We don't promote drinking and driving, nor was the shirt designed to imply this. The shirt could, on it's face mean that sure, if read into. It definately is not wise to make a shirt that states, "Let's drink and drive". It's a fun shirt, thats all...like a police donut inspector, bad cop, no donut shirt...etc. The T shirt is a fun shirt, nothing more, nothing less. I see the shirt as we all have bought Camaros, like to play spin the bottle and drink.

To address the C5 fest..

Due to the anticipated 5 fold increase in attendees this year because of the plant tour, I anticipate some people may act out. Too many people have spent too much time and their own personal funds for a spotless record for the event to be tarnished. I have a high tolerance for having fun and drinking. I speak for myself here, but...if someone observes outright ignorance of decency, it should be addressed. Drinking AND stupidity AND embarassing themselves in full view of the public is NOT what the BBOMG is about, will be about or will become. We do all our outlandish partying in a large conference room, behind closed doors. Nobody should tolerate anyone discrediting this event and I would be severely dissapointed if someone was seen with an official BBOMG shirt or the unofficial BBOMG shirt at any part of this event or at the hotel discrediting this events spotless record. By all means have fun, but be respectful. We don't do burnouts in hotel parking lots and we respect people and their property wherever we go without fail (save Ford dealership). Thus the BBOMG has been invited to return wherever we have been because of this respect.

We are an extremely cohesive social group with very close ties, bonds and friendships. Do we drink? yes, do we give proceeds to charity? Yes, do we break the law? No. That being said, the shirts are all in fun and by NO means endorse or imply that.

All this is for two groups of people. Recognition the employees at the GM Oshawa plant who built our Camaros and the children of Oshawa/Whitby Big Brothers/Big Sisters we collectively help in the end. I don't think anyone wishes to tarnish this fundamental goal.

Lots of exaggerations in these threads. Either that or I didn't open the right doors

Anyhow, if you think people are just getting stupid at Oshawa, that is not the case at all. Everyone was real nice, well behaved and you certainly didn't need to drink the Crown Royal or beer to have a good time.
