Sha Na Na - Those Magic Changes

This song was from Grease, one of my all time favorites (Chick Flick). Obviously, not from the 60's but from that time setting

Wow....Great choices!! I collect record albums of that era and other than Status Quo, I have a number of albums by each of those artists. I'm impressed! By the way, I like Pictures of Matchstick Men....just don't have anything by the band...sort of a one hit wonder if I remember correctly.

Thanks!!!

I actually have all those 45s!!!

I went through my whole collection to add my records to the list

I have a ton of 45s from the late 60s with the covers too!!!

Listing all these songs for this thread brought back great memories of those days

Status Quo - Pictures of Matchstick Men, I am sure was a 'one hit wonder'...I have the 45...still love the song...it's 'groovy'...lol

Remember the whole British Invasion?!

Don't even get me started on the British Invasion!! Yardbirds, Kinks, etc. On a side note, I remember seeing the Doors on a local tv station up in Los Angeles. They were playing Break on Through. Went down to my local record store in San Diego that week to buy their album and nobody had ever heard of them. Had to special order their album

I still have most of my Original Beach Boys Albums, Steppenwolf, Cream, the Beatles and alot more from the 60's. I used to work for a record store when I was in high school back in the 70's. There too many songs to list as favorites from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Alot of those songs are classics and many of the artist are Rock n Roll Hall of Famers...... Long live Rock and Roll.....

cover of Elvis

This is one of my favorite ZZ Top songs, for obvious reasons - best of both worlds

Oh yeah, those are super memorable tunes; I loved 'em.

How about the 45 disc with "Yellow Submarine" on side 'A' and "Paperback writer" on side 'B'.

I still remember all the lyrics to both of 'em.
