You should also tell the San Antonio people to post their info so I can add them to the map. If they don't give me their info I can't add them.

Exclamation Schools out for summer

No matter where it is I hope you consider all the younger car enthusiasts for example my teen wrenches on the car with me maybe the only way I can get time with him all my kids love cars they say they get it from the old man and a lot of young parents can't go because of the younger ones school schedule. Please consider a date when most schools are out!
OTHER PARENTS PLEASE CHIME IN

Mostly parents with small kids need the school to be out so they can get some family to watch them aka grandparents. My kid is 15 6'4" 225 can wrench and talk cars with most anyone.

the real reason we have an April time frame is weather... it's hot but not usually melt your face off hot...

the summer is just that... HAWT! and not usually weather people want to travel in...

But the NE allow us to move a little more into summer and possibly get more families involved. But the NE is Clobbered with car show's and events that have been around a lot longer than we have, and we should be respectful of them and not be seen as trying to take from their long standing attendance.

(just me thinking here)

As far as not being kid friendly... I think there is some truth to that... ONLY because in most events your kids can't ride with you... sometimes they can on the AutoX but almost never on the drag strip or road courses...

so that limits teenagers who don't have a car of their own to hanging out and watching...

However, we absolutely want the next generation Camaro owners to get out and get involved...

But again, it's hard to accommodate everyone. I do like the idea of a summer event.

Consider your thoughts noted.

I see. Here I'm assuming people would want to bring their 6 year olds or something for some kind of kiddie carnival.

Which Camaro5 Fest isn't. More like "On these hallowed grounds, we shall rape clutches, rubber, and asphalt.."

Camaro5 fest: Not your Kiddie Carnival.
