Elvis best performance ever

Take a look at this Video, this is for me the best Elvis performance ever. I see him almost cry at one point.

Just curious if you meant "Eve of Destruction" by Barry Mcguire....The Troggs were famous for "Wild Thing."

You're right about it not being a Troggs song; it WAS a song by that other band whose name begins with the same letter: the Turtles. McGuire also had a rendition, so correct on both scores.
