Needing new tires, any suggestions?
So I have 23,500 miles on my stock P-Zeros and the tread is almost completely gone...I wouldn't be comfortable driving my car in the rain and will definitely be buying a set of new tires in the near future. I am looking for some tires that will be durable and obviously of at least the same quality of the P-Zeros.....Any suggestions for new tires?

How much high performance driving do you do?
If you do a lot of tracking, then you're going to need to buy a soft tire again like the P-Zero or Nitto Invo. If you don't, then I would recommend you try the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. This is what I replaced my Pirellis with and I really like them. They aren't quite as grippy, but they should last at least twice as long, maybe more. They still grip well, it's just easier to chirp them from a stoplight

I don't make too many runs at the track, so I'm not necessarily looking for the softest tire...I definitely want a tire that has plenty of traction, just some more life to them...I don't really do any burnouts or anything, just a daily driver.

As much as I'm ashamed to say this, but I recently got the rear tires replaced with...Delinte D8 tires
![]() I don't race my car or do many burnouts, but the tires seem to grip pretty good. I haven't "fully" tested them yet, but when I gave it some gas, they seemed to chirp a bit while still having some traction.

Yokohama Parada Spec X's. I think they are being discontinued, but I am completely satisfied with their performance. I like chirping the tires going into 3rd

I recently bought Continental Extreme DWS tires. They are "supposed" to be rated at 50k miles. Seem to be ok but it hasn't rained any since I installed them last week.

How about these?
https://www.onlinetires.com/search/v...ds/page_1.html I've got them and they are a great price! They have a wear rating of 420 too. Took about 2 days for them to be delivered. |

Well I've driven in some pretty good downpours and the Conti's have held up pretty well. Felt much better than the pirelli's in the rain.

Wait until end of August, Bridgestone is coming out with at least 2 new lines of tires designed specifically for the Camaro, Mustang and G8. High performance all seasons, and ultra high performance summer only tires.

you should also check out the Yokahama Spec-X All Season tires.Very good grip, and they actually work well in the snow, and tread wear is minimal.I had a set on my RS Camaro.
