Hmmmmm woke up this morning to the little birdie reports from Gary Indiana. Hooverman is going where no other LPE customer has gone. Can't wait too see how it turns out!
Here I am thinking I have about maxed this block out and Graham comes up with a way for me to spend more money.

Well I could not stand to sit around a mope around and miss my car anymore. I stole the wifes CTSV and went to the strip.

She is still trying to figure out how it took me three hours to get a pack of smokes.

A lot of fun, it was the thrid fastest car there. Spun my way to a 14 flat.
To be honest I miss my car even more now. Transporters say the car should be back in the shop by the end of next week. I think I will drive the rig up and pick it up and make a little detour to the strip to try it out with some good air.

That's hillarious!! I'm going to have to try that trick with Darren's mini next time there's a track day. Yesterday there was a mini kicking everyone's butts at SMS. He's just going to wonder when I took up smoking. We had a photographer at the track yesterday. Check out the cool shots he took.

Yeah, you may have to try the Starbucks line. Awsome pics! Now I really miss my car! Looks like you guys are having a blast up there! Hopefully I will make it up there to play with you track demons a few times this summer.
Those Mini's are amazing in the way they handle, it dosent take much to make them scream around a track.

That would be too cool to get you up here again when you've got your car back and it's running like a BEAST! Yeah I guess it's better to go with the Starbucks line, or I could start smoking, then it would seem legit! Maybe you need to get the Mrs's CTS-V over to Lingenfelter, so she could have some fun (legally or not) too! Hope you get your car back soon!!!!

Great group of cars on the track. Which one did you feel was the best of class in handling?

Pete, If you're asking ME that question, I'm gonna say my car of course!!! I absolutely love the way my car handles now. I have no more push or body roll anymore. Based on lap times the mini and the miata are faster, but they also take a completely different line around the track, and don't get to experience my extra "fun factor" on the 2 straightaways!!! I also haven't reached driving my car to it's potential yet, since I'm still learning, and try to err on the side of caution.

I was driving behind the evo for a while, and he was actually drifting around several of the corners. It's a lot of fun going out there with all those cool cars and exchanging rides with people.

It is so frustrating that our cars are weigh more than 1,500 pounds.

Weight on track is like height in the NBA -- you can't coach 'em up to be taller. You can coach them to be better. That is what we do. We try to cheat physics with added RWHP, suspension and brakes.

I think it is absolutely awesome that you are out there and doing so well.

Finally my car is leaving in the morning! Andy should be able to knock out the engine work in a couple of days. But I have been tossing around either going with carbon fiber hood and trunk, painted with the stock style stripes left carbon. Or painting ghost stripes on mine. I am leaning towards the ghost stripes as the CF parts add weight, and really dont fit very well. There are also some killer paint shops in Big D, so I figure I might as well.
I am going to drive out and pick it up myself, cant see waiting three weeks after she's done for my baby again.

Wonder if LPE can shoehorn a LS3 into a Miata? Man what a beast on the track that would be!

Man I wish I had a track close......then it would be R rated tires by the truck load!

Keep posting those awsome pictures.......I love em!
