$3 for the blue Elmer's paint pen to do the stitching mod. About 4 hours of work and now all of my stitching inside is blue.

"Embossed" rear bowtie...

$2 for the 4" Camaro decal... Maybe 70 cents for the scrap of silver sign vinyl I put over the gold portion of the bowtie...

Added on the rims the word CAMARO. A set of 4 for only 6 bucks with shipping on eBay. Made the rims really stand out for something so little!

I had the same concern, but I don't think it's a problem at all. Here is a video of my car with the lights on. I have LED afterburners from AAC, but you can also see the stock lights (they are the brake lights). I think they're plenty bright.
