well alot had happened i was according to the man who put the order in the computer, i was told that after the first two were pulled i was next because the person infront of me had CGM, but when i went in the other day that person had changed it and he said i was now number two and my workbench says priority 2 i just didnt think they would pull both this week because that would mean that all their orders were pulled for production in a month

So let me get this straight...
7 total cars:

P1- some SS already pulled
P2- some SS already pulled
P3- CGM SS (under constraint)
P4- you (so you're next based on P3's constraint ?)
P5- whatever
P6- whatever
P7- whatever

Is the above what you've been told? Just so we're on the same page. And where did you become P2? Did your sheet originally say priority #4?

Did they tell you that yours would be moving ahead this week? Did they say they even have an allocation this week? If not, I don't see what the question is. You'll just have to wait and keep in touch with your dealer (but don't harass them hah).

i never recieved a print off when i ordered on 2-19
I went and got one on 2-27 thats when the CGM was changed and i was told i was bumped back down to two.

They havent said they were getting anything this week but i seem to know info before they do gotta love camaro5

They also told me that the #1 guy was letting his sit in the showroom for a few months for advertisement WTF.

#1 was pulled
#2 was supposedly pulled as of 2-19
#3 was me on 2-26
#3 was the other person on 2-27 damnit
now #4 is me
I was the last to order but they got my hopes up sayin i was number one!

and i have told them they are supposed to find out if they have anything else being pulled this week and they tell me its the first they have heard of it.

And i keep tring to get a price off of the workbench and they say it still says W/A but someothers up here swear its there, any info on this?

First off, forget about the price (for now). It is what it is. It's not like your dealer can mess with the window sticker.

Now, as far as what you've been told is pulled- my opinion only-

It's all a numbers game as far as who gets what pulled. The more you have to start (total) the more you get each month percentage wise. My dealer had a PGN (production guide number which some refer to incorrectly as total allocation) of 31 Camaros. He has had two actually pulled to date of the three he got in the February consensus. Two of 31. See where I'm going? Two of 31... two of 7. Like I said, highly unlikely but nothing is impossible. And now he's telling you a third, yours, is going to be pulled?

I sincerely hope I'm wrong for your sake but my batting average is pretty good.

Anyway, be reminded that the dealer can change priorities at anytime. They need to be able to do this to accomodate changes in orders (via constraints and customer requests).

Also, there are things that are constant and some things that are not.

Every month, the dealer MUST consense to whatever (sometimes ZERO). You get an estimated shipment report and final allocation report. Some dealers don't pay attention to these things. They just go into "Pass One" blind and whatever is there is there. Some dealers don't even know what Pass One is. By not knowing this, when Tuesday comes around they may have lost buildable orders that they have earned because they had no "Preliminary Orders" for a specific allocation group.

Some things that are NOT constant are constraints (can happen out of nowhere with no explanation). Sometimes shit just happens.

Last week was a perfect example. We had allocation for a Z06. So i wanted to order the new Competition Sport Z06 Coupe and it was on constraint that week. So I had to order a non CSC Z06 or I would lose that Z06 for the week. Now, if I had left the CSC package on it, it would have failed Pass One. So, if another dealer had no allocation for a Z06 but asked for one, he could have gotten mine.

Got it??

See, it ain't that tough.

Fallon... eek. hasn't been too good so far. Not horrible but not great. Okay sooo another question...

I've got 3 orders ahead of me; one CGM SS and a couple 2LTs with priority 2-4 (#1 has already been submitted). So assuming that the constraints remain the same and none of these guys want to change their orders, does the dealer have to do anything for my order to go through? Or since mine is the first one that's buildable in their list of sold orders, will it automagically get pushed through?

Such GREAT INFO right there

No wonder my dealer asked for 2 in that section. Could work out for them if enough dealers left their Camaros with constraints in pass one and didn't pay attention...bye bye allocation (I know not likely to happen, but I can dream can't I?)

I don't think the dealer would have to do anything. The other orders would fail pass one and yours should be the next priority that passes, so it should be accepted...
