The Halos are cool but I don't regret for a minute the decision I made. Then again I have a black car so "body matched roof ditch" meant nothing to me. It's an SS so the spoiler is already there and the wheels were nice but not screaming my name by a long shot. Also the taillights were going to be blacked out anyway so really the ONLY thing I would have gained with the RS package would be the halos and $1200 would make them the highest priced HIDs I've ever heard of

Thanks to everybody who replied and posted pics. I'm leaning towards the RS package right now but I'm not going to make up my mind for sure until I get to the dealership to put down my deposit. I've already been in contact with the dealer and salesman who I will be ordering through on May 28. Should have my Z28 in my sig sold to my brother this week, to go towards the down payment whenever the car shows up.

I think in settings like this, the SS non-RS looks its best.

Here's some pics of my non-RS with mods to give you an idea how it could look if you want.

^^^^^^Looks great. I am doing the same thing with my Non-RS SS as well. So far I have added a convertible spoiler and AAC led headlights and fogs.

The difference between the RS and non-RS tail-lamps is plainly apparent. I, personally, just don't see that many non-RS Camaros.

The reflective stripe along the top, straight-edge of the tail-lamp is far more apparent on an RS tail-lamp, since the rest of the tail-lamp is "smoked" and much darker.

The non-RS tail-lamp is the same tone of red throughout; so, there's no difference between the plastic over the reflective stripe and the rest of the tail-lamp.

EDIT: Nice wheels, mclark10. I almost went with the American Racing Villain myself; but, I couldn't find any weight specifications on them. I got a set of TSW Nurburgrings, myself.

Good choice The AR website leaves a lot to be desired, but I initially found the Villians at tirerack.com. They list the weight as 31 for the fronts but n/a for rears. A local tire shop gave me a better deal so I got mine there.

If you can afford it, do it.
Not getting the RS package is my regret too. Ditto on the better looking with the lights. I currently got the light upgrades on my to-do list. Wish I had just went ahead and knocked it out when I semi-ordered her.
