Will a ported throttle body void the warrenty?

I am not sure they would even notice...

Highly unlikely it will even be noticed. I have one and know if there is an actual issue with the TB it will be on me to get a replacement.

Say the throttle position sensor goes out.. You would not need a new throttle body just a sensor right.

Probably be easier just to order a new TB from Mike and send him your old one to fix as a core if anything went wrong. I doubt is would ever be an issue though. I am highly considering one....

I see you have Flowmaster A/T... me too LOVE IT!!! Good call!

Also, fix your signature...

PVC - poly-vinyl chloride (plastic)
PCV - positive crankcase ventilation (catch can)

I want to get one. I have not decided yet if I will send mine in and have it ported or swap it out with one already done. If I send mine in it will take 2-4 weeks from Jannetty.

I've heard there are no user replaceable parts on the TB. I got my VMax from SC2150 and returned my TB for a core charge. It only took a couple of days for Tracy to credit the core charge. I'm sure Jannetty is the same way. My car is a daily driver so I couldn't have any down time.

I have heard nothing but good things from Mike Norris' customers about his... I am thinking of going that route. I am just not sure when...

I may be getting a 2012 so I would for sure get one for it prior to havnig it tuned. I don't want to do anything else to the 2010 until I decide.

This is exactly why i paid for a brand new VMAX TB. I kept my stock one just in case i ever need to swap it back for warranty work so they have nothing to gripe about. Also affords me zero down time if i do have any TB issues down the road.

Can you use PVC for your PCV?
