Sounds good Ject... We might be able to make the first one for just a bit (we have an event that night @ 8), unfortunately I don't think we are going to be able to make another one until July 9th...

On a side note, has anyone been at the Friday night meets @ Central & West lately? We haven't been able to make one yet and was wondering how the turnout is so far.

I went there 2 wks ago when it was really windy, still good turn out but people were leaving around 7:30 or 8:00. I was told the weekend before that the parking lot was completely filled. My wife and I kinda felt like the SS was getting the cold shoulder from most people. Maybe if a few more of us can hit it, like the corvette guys do, it would be better.

If there are a few people interested, I wouldn't mind going again
I use to go there for a while but lost interest.

Sounds good to me... The next couple weeks are crazy for me, but maybe after we get back from D.C. we can make it up there. Power in numbers!

Idea for Wichita/KC meet:

Heartland Park in Topeka. They have several events where you can get your car out on their road course or the strip.

NHRA Street Legal nights it's $25 and you can get as many passes as you want. I think that's the first/second Thursday of every month.

I would really be interested in the Road Course! I drag race occasionally here at KID but have always wanted to hit a road course. We may have to try and get several different areas interested in this, such as KC.

Must be? LOL! I usually have been going on the Friday night Midnight Madness or the Friday night test and tunes. Backed off here last few weekends because I need to address my wheel hop/suspension issues before I leave an axle on the track....
