drove an L99, it was OK. But I'd rather have the LS3 if I were to go V8.

first vehicle was a truck. Now it wasn't fast, but I loved the V8 sound, so I just had to have a V8 in this one

Yup, that's what happened to me. I traded my V6 for a V8. Now I have traded my V8 to get the ZL1. Good times!

Talked to my parents again about me getting a LS3 this summer after working and saving up for a good down payment.... they were good for it if I could get good financing and get the monthly payments low enough. I'm working my butt off!

In all honestly I wouldn't say I was blown away, but I just felt a lot more torque than I do in my car at WOT. Normal acceleration really did not seem that drastic. LS3 is where it's all at I'm sure. But making a really dialed in auto is pretty sick though, I was very impressed.

The first one I drove was the SS manual trans. Wouldnt have it without a stick. I was going to get it but didnt want to be forced to buy premium gas. Plus I figured I would get in trouble with it. In my area big brother is everywhere and I just got my first ticket with this car from a big brother traffic camera. They are all over the place, they move them around to different locations, so I cant have any fun with my car for fear of getting another ticket mailed to me. If I get on the highway to wind it out its nothing but traffic. Damn!
