Just remember that times are a lot different than they were and dealer's financial needs are different and their attitudes have as well. I'm sure you'll be fine but it never hurts to have it in writing, for both parties sake.

Since the original point of this thread was to track our first 2SS sold order, once it's preferenced there's not much else to do until I get the TPW. So to keep this thread (and lesson) active, I'm gonna put up the consensus screen below. This will let us determine how many estimated shipments we are going to get for the next cycle, how many we will forecast for, and how many cars we wish to take.

I highlighted Camaro to keep you focused.

Feel free to ask questions:

You'll see we are getting 3 for the next cycle but I am going to ask for 11. The only hope in getting those extra 8 is that your dealer truly is an idiot and forgets to order his Camaros.

Looks like I have 3 very lucky Camaro people getting theirs by the time May rolls around.

The last column..... APP Qty...does that mean your dealership was approved for three Camaro's to be produced in April, even though only 2 were forecast??

Yes. However dealers have until next Friday to complete it. There are many dealers that have these huge, inventory needs meetings and overanalyze consensus to the point where it's a burden. I've been using this system for years and we never end up with tons of last year's model leftovers. It really is just common sense.

Does thise mean that Early May will be when that 2ss camaro will arrive?
