I have used the Proxes in the past. Seemed like a good tire for the price.

just put the Gmax's on my rear wheels today, look good, grip pretty darn good, so far I love them but it is very limited use obviously. check the thread out about the Gmax's that I started earlier, there is an animated video on them in it. paid 461.10 out the door for them.

I put the Proxes STII on my SS about 2 weeks ago. They're a little bit louder than the Pirelli's, but it's not that bad. You can hear the difference if you have the radio off. I had a fair amount of rain this morning and they are MUCH better than the Pirelli's. I'd recommend a set, although I don't know how many miles to expect. I got 30K out of the Pirelli's, hopefully these will last longer.

My General G-Max tires are in the mail but I won't be able to fully judge them until I try them in rain and snow.

Have the Toyo's on the rear of mine. About 4500 miles on them.
Like them alot. Very little wear so far. Nice and quiet.
I'll buy them again over the Pirelli's.

Can't speak to wet traction as it doesn't rain here
