HAHAHAHA NICE BRO!! If I could get my wife to admit it she'd tell you I can fit 3 chicks in thongs on my Harley and still ride it through a parade! !

I am thinking I can fit me, the wife AND possibly 3 models / dancers in the LS3! HAHAHAHAHA!

OMG almost time to go meet a nice sales person to see about some negotiations!

WHOOOOOOOHOOOO!

You gotta wipe that "I MUST HAVE IT NOW!" attitude off your face while trying to negotiate or they'll take you to the cleaners. Put on your poker face.

I got such a chuckle out of this post. Let me tell you my story...

Back a few years ago, after the reveal of both the Challenger concept and Camaro concept I got the itch... for both. I knew at that moment I would own one of those cars if either made it to market. I was leaning heavily toward the Camaro until it got delayed. I switched gears and in 08 bought a fully loaded Black R/T Challenger. I had permagrin in that car for quite some time but there was an itch that wasn't getting scratched. The reason for this was because it was an auto. In 08 you couldnt get the 6-speed but I was tired of driving my wifes old high school Ford Escort so I couldnt wait and got one of the first R/T's in the DFW area.

Fast forward to March of this year. I found a loaded Challenger SRT8 6-speed and was determined to keep the same car I knew and loved but upgraded with exactly what I wanted. The SRT8 is no slouch, and I love everything about it and still want one in my collection. On this day however it was just not meant to be since the dealer wasn't willing to negotiate anything reasonable for that car. As fate would have it, they just happened to have a "used" 2SS RS LS3 Transformers Edition on the lot at the dealer with a measly 1832 miles on it. Switching gears I wanted to take the Camaro for a spin and lets just say I HAD THE SAME EXACT FEELING you did. Even the Dodge salesman was impressed! I got back from my test drive and called my wife to inform her on the decision I was making as well as the "you aren't talking me out of this one" speech.

I miss my Challenger a great deal (I have never missed a car before) but OMG I love my LS3 Camaro!!!! My wife even had some professional pictures taken inspired by my car. I would love to share but they are rated R.

I'm going top leave work in 20 minutes and I'm going to row some gears in my LS3 2SS/RS for Z28ROCKSTAR with my permagrin on! Oh and screw the sun roof, sport a reverse mohawk and get the short throw shifter instead!

Congrats. Skip-shift and muffler delete is the best first MODS IMO. Then a good CAI. I am so used to the power of mine that I wish I could afford a supercharger and a heavy duty clutch and rear. Enjoy brother !!!

2SSROCKSTAR- tell the dealer you want to drive it off the showroom floor! That's what I did- on June 1, 2009- the day GM announced bankruptcy. Take pix.
