Steve's post also stated these would be ready by the end of April, then the first week of May, then since they were doing some final tweaks the second week. Now, as far as I know they have no freakin' clue if/when these will be ready for shipment. Don't tell me they don't deserve any of the heat. My bitch is with both the vendor and V-ram. V-Ram stirred this pot since end of January. The vendor was the one v-ram displayed with at the fest, they knew orders were being taken.

One month plus a day since my money was taken and still no update towards shipping timeframe.

i basically just stopped thinking about this and stopped waiting as it was driving me crazy, but if someone took my money and i have no idea when the product was going to be shipped than i have all the reason in the world to be upset.

did md speed even offered to give you your money back until any further notice?

Nope. Last contact with them stated I could get updated through this thread so I come here to get my update.
I didn't set the projected ship date, they did. It would be one thing if they said we ran a batch, they didn't meet our specs, we're re-tooling and plan another run on such and such but they didn't. They said they're "finding more power" so everyone will be happy. How much more power? I already saw the dyno graph from earlier. It sold me then. What was wrong with it they have to change it up already?

rolnslo already stated that there was shrinkage with some of the parts on the intake. Even tho that's not what Steve stated earlier when he said more hp was found. I think rolnslo's comment is more of what is actually going on IMO.

What hp was "found"? I saw Rolnslo said there was "shrinkage", when is the next run of parts happening? Are we now looking at June, July, April 2012? I don't care if Rolnslo is working with them to get this thing out there, Steve should be here with an update. It is now the 19th of May.

1 month and 2 days since my money went into someone elses hand for this and still no idea when/if it'll be sent.

Guys these kind of delays happen with new products. It sounds like Vararam didn't take anybody's money yet. That part is a vendor issue.

I haven't ordered yet, but I gladly would if I could get an order in right now. I'll wait as long as it takes to get the final product too. I'd much rather wait for the best product they can produce rather than pay for something that was rushed out to keep a few forum members happy. You should be glad they're taking their time to do this right. If you're paying the bill, then you deserve the best product for your money. I'd think you guys would want the best product your money can buy.

This is the BS that ticks me off as to how this thread has turned. They said the product was done and would ship the end of April. They also displayed with the vendor that currently has my money and knew that money was being taken for these that were to ship the end of April. Now they didn't say what April, but considering it was April 2011 it was reasonable for me to believe these would ship the end of April 2011. At this point they aren't rushing any product out to keep anybody happy so I wish you'd stop saying that. I'm not happy as it was a product that was portrayed to be complete so I wish you guys would stop trying to baby them. I've already paid the bill and would think they owe us some sort of timeframe to expect it or what is going on other than they're find more "power". I didn't set the ship dates and adjust it 3 or 4 times only to see said ship dates come and go.

WOW really you people still on this? Take your issue up with Maryland, common sense would tell you this. Especially if you see that no one on the group buy has been charged yet. I think you should go to the Maryland vendor thread blast them on there. Cause VR I bet hasn't gotten no $$ from MD yet. A lot of the people here I think would want the best thing first time around. Not having a 2.0 Ver. come out later!

I understand both points of view. You guys are all right, I would want the best product just like the rest of you. But one has to admit it is bad business to market a product as coming out on a certain date, then miss that date by a month with the only explanation as "we found more HP". If they were here posting more often, telling us things such as details about the added HP, new timelines, or just assuring us that they are working on it, I don't think everyone would be as fired up as they are. As of now though, they have simply gone silent, not very reassuring. By all means, keep working on it, make it the best product we can have, but keep the buyers in the loop!!! I really appreciate Ron trying to fill us in and giving up his personal time to this project, but he is not a rep. from Vararam. He shouldn't have to be the one doing their work for them. In my opinion they are starting to really drop the ball on this one. I don't believe a "Hey guys, we are sorry, and we are working on getting it out by such and such date" is too much to ask. Just a simple response would go a long way when someones money is concerned.
