Yeah unfortunately. We typically don't have rain this time of year. Calling for rain Tuesday and Wednesday too. At least it'll be nice this weekend.

Looking nice here too. Mac and JD should be here this weekend. Mike and Dan bailed. JD comes in town Thursday and Mac Friday for DynoDay. Its about an hour drive to the shop through some really nice southern Ohio back roads... I think they will like it!!!

Talking Happy Birthday to Me

Actually, it was this past Sunday, but my present came today, because my husband wanted me to pick it out - a cold air intake! It was hard to choose, because there's very little difference in performance gains for the V6 CAIs. So after an evening reading up on them in the V6 forums, I decided to go with the prettiest one (I can get away w/that 'cuz I'm a girl LOL) - Roto-fab, with the red air box and hoses, of course.

It does snap you back in the seat just a little bit more! And it's a little louder, but only when you really whomp on it. It's a good thing we're driving up to BBOMG in a group, because my husband would get in too much trouble by himself!

Thanks! I knew I'd seen one on one of my OH buddies' cars, but couldn't remember which! Now I know I made a good choice.

I had a CAI intake at first, but I switched to Roto-Fab after I got my supercharger. Roto-Fab makes one to fit the supercharger and I was able to get the Roto-Fab in almost any color I wanted. I gained a lot of rwhp with the Roto-Fab compared to the CAI with the maggie (I have the dyno sheet to prove it). I think the hp gain is almost the same though without a supercharger.

The CAI was the most expensive for the V6 CAIs, so that factored into my choice. The VaraRam looked interesting, but isn't available yet for the V6. Early tests are really promising, but I wanted mine now.

From what I could tell, the V6 CAIs all give ~10-12 hp increase. I liked the Roto-fab's color matching, too.

I agree. I like the look of the Roto-Fab.

I was replying more to photonfury's post (he has an SS).
