They are also going to try to get us their new Camaro pace car for the tour. It depends if something is already planned for it that day. He's supposed to let me know tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. Also, for tour tickets we need to elect one person to collect $15 CASH from each member at the show who is going to the track so they can stop by the shop by 5:00 to purchase the tickets, then meet everyone else at the track. This will prevent a parking lot clusterf$%&k at the shop like we had last time. Now, that could be $300-400 in cash, so I vote that it's not Andy as he's in serious mod mode!

Just got a call from the track. The new Camaro pace car is available and WILL be there to pace our event on Saturday

Just a heads up. I know you have all heard of or experienced the awesome 115mph speeds from the last time we did this. Bear in mind, their policy is 55mph paced laps. We may get lucky, we may not, try not to be too disappointed or expect too much if they hold closer to the 55mph rule rather than balls to the wall. I think we can expect at least 70, anything more will surely be appreciated. Furthermore, I contacted Track time Photos to see if they will be at the track Saturday. They have a conflict but they are trying to resolve it and will let me know. They are the official track photographers

When your convertible gets in to the dealer make sure they install the tonneau cover pins. I had to show the guys at East Syracuse where they were and found the instructions for them. GM did not do a good job letting dealers know about them.

They should be right behind the back seat where the cover clips on to them. Don’t drive the car with the cover installed and not clipped in or the cover might take flight

Bill at East Syracuse knows about them just make sure they are there.

Hopefully the weather will get better!

I was washing mine tonight, just as I got it all hosed down Mother Nature decided she wanted to help wash the new Convertible!!!! So Mother Nature and I washed it all up then I backed it in the garage and dried it off.

MY NEIGHBORS THINK I'M NUTS!! one of them actually brought out an umbrella while I was washing, I told him hold it over the car!
