I know more about Jeep Wranglers and cars in general than you ever will. I get cross sale and market share data across my desk daily. I know exactly what Jeep is doing and what Jeep is not doing. We all are entitled to our opinions, including you. I was simply stating a few facts about this industry (that I have been involved in my entire adult life) that I thought were common sense, but apparently passed you by.

![]() Isnt the whole point of aftermarket products to improve upon the car as you see fit? Whether theyre cosmetic or performance, it gives people variety. I say embrace whats available. You know what this would be going into it, so you might as well make the best of it.

Why don't ya really pull out a man card and Build your SS to your liking. You really think the zl1 is gonna take the abuse and power people are putting on the SS. Everything has it limits and zl1 isnt going to be that much more, still be buying upgrades to drivline and clutch like SS's once ya get to certain power points.
And i cant wait for people to buy the zl1, cheaper parts to come off the wrecked ones lol

I think he's trying to say he feels he shouldn't have to go to the aftermarket for parts that'll take the abuse, he should be able to get one from the dealer.
Instead of purchasing a car you feel doesn't meet up to your standard I would've suggested going to WWW.NICKEYCHICAGO.NET and have them build a Supercamaro the way you wanted it. The ZL1 seems to be the project on the horizon to fill that need straight from GM/Chevy. I guess it took them longer to fill the void they didn't realize was going to be there. Remember that powertrain warranty they're offering is 6-years and it's more than just slapping a bigger motor in the car and saying it's got a warranty. I would rather use aftermarket than stuff from the dealer. Stuff from the dealer may have a longer warranty, but it comes at a much increased price and isn't any better.
