I'm just confused on why he is complaining. He claims to have the money but doesn't want to mod his Camaro? If he has the money, shut up and make it what you want, which is even better because it is custom, not built in some factory.

That is not a bad connotation either, a business will make good money if they make a good product and treat customers accordingly, which GM does in my opinion.

Do you have the money to make the car the way you want? If so then have the work done, make it the car you want.

If you do not have the money, what is the point in putting the blame on GM? Then you wouldn't have the Camaro because it would be out of your price range yet built to your standards.
Since the dawn of time.....factories have had base models and then packages that are available. I am not asking for every Camaro to have upgraded components, but I'd like to be able to buy one that does.

If you go back through the years to the Boss 302...Trans Am car....specialty car. The 1LE edition was a road race package that had optional equipment and things like radio delete etc. There have been dozens of these packages over the years....Z28 being a popular one....ZL1....the list goes on.

If you are thinking that every model has to have the best components then that isn't what I am saying.....but like I said earlier....I am shocked I have to defend my position on this...but that's life, I guess I am unique in my thought process.

And that is exactly what they do:

LS
1LT
2LT
1SS
2SS
and the soon to be ZL1

What they don't make is a Camaro super car that out classes their Corvette. You have to make that yourself.

You really don't get it, do you?

You don't have to defend your position on more power, we all love more power. We all love better parts. They have different models, they have a 1LS, 2LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, 2SS, and a soon to be ZL1. Mind you 4 out of the 5 of those models have TONS of options (albeit mostly cosmetic). All these models range in power and parts. They also range in price points. They have just started the Camaro saga again, with only 2 years in production now, and they are making some serious headway into the performance area with the ZL1. I think in the coming years they will continue this development, but like fbod said.. they just got out of bankruptcy and are working on things every day.

What I don't get is your fascination with me. A 1SS and a 2SS are the same car with different trim packages....hardly a performance upgrade of any kind, I think it's you who doesn't get it.

ZL1...I hear ya....I just wish they had it now.

I suppose you are right....considering where GM was a few years ago, I guess we are lucky to have any options....still doesn't change me wanting more and doesn't explain Cristo's fascination with getting angry over my posts.

He's funny at least.....ok...maybe not.

So you are talking about add on packages to the existing SS like a "Super Track Pack" that both Dodge and Ford Have, I admit that would have been nice.

As stated before, there is no anger here at all and really only a morbid curiosity into what I feel is an egocentric and narrow point of view. Even Fbodfather chimed in with the reasoning behind their production and marketing as well as dispelling your erronious information about Jeep. You however continue to huff and puff about what YOU want while GM quietly listens to what we ALL want.

I personally find that amusing.

Yes ...something along those lines....heck a decent set of swaybars, rear control arms and bushings would be a good start along with ditching the 2 piece driveshaft.

Don't forget, you also demanded 500+ rwhp.

Who can argue with a guy using your logic....really...I mean you are a grown man who apparently is getting his jollies by following me around and trying to insult me.

That's funny.....it's kind of sad....but you have to admit...it's definitely funny.

As for the Jeep example....my information isn't erroneous and I doubt Fbod father is versed enough in the Rubicon model to speak authoritatively on it. It is one of Jeep's most profitable vehicles in their four wheel drive line despite them not wanting to build it. That was my only reasoning for bringing it up.

If you're going to continue with these passive aggressive insults....please step it up a notch. So far you've been measured and found to be lacking.

I think he's just trollin'. Either that, or he can't accept the oppinion of others without getting defensive. Or, hes' just a spoiled BRAT who won't shut up until he gets his way. Lets keep watching and try to figure out which it is.
